It’s been a minute since my last blog post. In all honesty I needed a little breather after my previous two post. Those were heavy, and I needed time to process the response I received from sharing my personal thoughts and feelings. Truthfully, I wouldn’t change a thing about what I wrote or said. In my opinion those musings needed released and how they were received by each individual that read them was out of my hands. Peace has been made in my heart and head and that’s all I wanted in the end result.

With that said, moving on.

We’ve officially been in our new house for an entire month! Woohoo! While there’s still a long way to go in regards to aesthetics we’re pretty much settled in and finding out groove in our new home and town. On top of this move we’ve been wrapping up the details of our wedding and are pretty much ready to go. The countdown is officially on with only 55 days until we say “I do”. On top of our wedding planning, I’ve also been planning our family honeymoon trip to Disney world (62 days ya’ll) which has been tons of fun. So be on the lookout for post from me regarding these two big upcoming events.

In addition to all these crazy life events happening, I’ve been thinking about this blog a lot and where I want to take it. My big focus over the summer is going to simply be about writing. Whether that be post about what were doing, feelings I’m having about certain things in parenthood, married life, relationships with others, etc. Or even dabbling with poetry and short stories again. I’ve even contemplated dusting off my old journals and sifting through all that teenage angst and chaos of my early twenties for inspiration or for some serious throwback Thursday action. For so many people in my life writing is a major aspect in how they live, work, and express. I let that get away from me years ago and can say just fiddling with the blogging world off on for the past few years has sparked that fire in my again.

So there you have it. My life in it’s current nutshell and the thoughts and ideas I’ve got brewing in this brain and hear of mine. Until next time friends.
